Our thanks go to: Auntie Catherine & Uncle Ray for all the baking and running about they did before and during our stay. Canadian scouter Wayne for being a true Scouter with helping to make this an exceptional expedition, Canadain scouter BJ for his numerous chats about his Canadian Scouting, Candian Scouter Keith for talk about local Indian tribes and wooden puzzles. Scouter Ryan, camp warden for being on call, Jerry Ouellette MPP for the donation of fishing equipment (didn't catch anything though), all the on site pool team for the numerous visits our Scouts made during our stay on Camp Samac.

Thanks to parents for finding the funds to allow their Scout to attend what can only be described as the "Ultimate" Scouting experiance, something we all hope will always bring up happy memories for decades to come of Scouting here at 1PSC.

Thanks to all the leaders for taking personal time off work and personal expense to take our Scouts to Canada and make this camp what will be seen as one of the best expedtions in the groups history.

Thanks to Andy (DC) for runing us to and from Manchester airport.

Finally thanks to Maureen for her help and support, putting up with a stressed out Skip as the camp date drew closer.

As for me, it was the most time consuming camp I've ever ran, two years in the planning the most intense action packed program I've ever planned with many hurdles to take on. The scouts we took were all exceptional Scouts a credit to the movement and the UK at a time when we were hearing about the riots in the UK from the Canadians we met.

Now taking names for the Ardeche in 2012!
